I have been in the customer service business all of my working years, in different forms of businesses. Emotions are what drive me to capture images. I like it when customers look at their photo's and the emotions from that day or event come rushing back. I use the best in Canon equipment. My style is both natural and off camera flash mixed with small to large light modifiers. I do all of my own image editing from conservative to extreme beauty retouching. I would like to use a quote from Photographer, Kevin Kubota. That, I myself work by. "I'm a photographic impressionist. I want to capture the mood, or feeling, of the scene as it stands before me. The mood can be entirely influenced by context, sounds, relationships, smells, tastes, history, fantasies, or even alcohol. How I convey that feeling is my individual style and art. The tools I use are inconsequential." I, like Kevin, carry a large tool box. I also design my own albums. Being able to provide this for my clients, offers them more variety and flexibility. My goal and persistence is to be the photographer that every client was happy they selected to record their life. DA Visions a wedding photography service in the Lehigh Valley and surrounding area. We use the finest Canon equipment and specialize in natural and off camera lighting. Photo composites and enhancements are our specialty. Please visit our web for more information

Bethlehem Engagement photographer

Bethlehem Engagement photographer ~ with Chelsea & Kyle

Last week we met up with Chelsea and Kyle at The steel Stacks in Bethlehem for their engagement session, originally we had planned for it  a couple weeks earlier but the skies didn’t cooperate. Even though their special day will be celebrated at the beautiful Crystal Springs Resort in New Jersey, they chose to come to Bethlehem for their session since they both graduated from Moravian College. It was a fun chilly day to work with them and capture some great images.

Here are just a few of my favorites.

Historic Hotel Bethlehem Wedding Photographer ~ with Jackie & Tom

It was the last wedding of the year for DA Visions and it certainly ended with a bang! Hotel Bethlehem has some unique grounds and textures to get creative with photographs. Jackie and Tom opted to go with a first look before the ceremony so that they could enjoy cocktail hour with their guests as well as the special Scottish bagpiper that played for the hour. Judging by the photos, each time Tom saw his wife, it was a special moment. Cocktail hour is always a good time to snap more candid images with the guests.  The guest count was upwards of 200 people, but that didn’t stop the DJ, Fly Guy
Productions – he had the dance floor packed all night.  In fact, the party was so good Jackie and Tom were getting wedding crashers! Everyone had a good time and the newlyweds left two days later for their paradise trip to St. Lucia.

Allentown Senior Photographer

Allentown Senior Photographer ~ Sophia

I met Sophia and her Mom Lydia when they came along for Brayden’s senior session in August. After Brayden’s session Lydia booked Sophia for this Month. After finally getting a date that worked by dodging the bad weather, we ended up with a beautiful sunny day this past week. We started out at Steel Stacks in Bethlehem and ended in a nearby park. Of course Sophia brought Brayden along and her dog for some pictures too.

Clinton NJ Wedding Photographer

Clinton NJ Wedding Photographer

A couple weeks ago we had the pleasure of capturing the beautiful wedding of Chris and Mary. They both had a lot on their plate leading up to the wedding day. Mary and the girls were supposed to get ready at their new home they had just purchased. We all know how stressful buying a home is. Just days before the wedding the house water well decided to quit. Mary had wanted portraits on the landscaped property but unfortunately all the drilling for the well and heavy equipment had ruined all those possibilities. On top of that there was no water so now she had to get a room at the Holiday Inn hotel in Clinton, but there were no rooms available. Luckily her sister had booked a room there prior so she gave it up for Mary. Stylist from The art of Hair in Phillipsburg NJ came to the room to perform their magic.  On top of all that you have the stress of the wedding day and the fear of rain was in the picture. Mary’s mom all the while trying to calm everyone. It all worked out in the end. The skies remained calm and  she married the man she loves. They had a beautiful ceremony at  the Immaculate Conception Church in Annandale NJ and a fun party at Flynns on the Hill in Phillipsburg NJ.

Allentown Bar Mitzvah Photographer

Allentown Bar Mitzvah Photographer ~ with Jared

On October 7th we had the pleasure of capturing Jared becoming a Bar Mitzvah. Jared has a wonderful, loving, fun family. Mom sure knows how to plan and throw a party. The service was at Keneseth Israel in Allentown and the celebration at Bear Creek Mountain Resort. Jared who is active in theatrical has no problem being animated. His theme for the party was just that, all theatrical. Red carpet, paparazzi and all that goes with it.
