Temple Beth EL Bar Mitzvah Photographer with Danny

In May we captured Danny’s pre session images. Mom liked them so much she had a few enlarged to 4 foot for the Party at Bear Creek. The Temple session was completed on Friday at Temple Beth EL with the party the next day at Bear Creek. We have been to Bear Creek quite often this year. We love it there. Plenty of room to work and party plus the staff is tremendous. Our daughter held her wedding there last year. Again we worked with A Sharp productions, they always do a great job and get the party cranking. We hold only a few DJ’s close to heart and they are one of them. It’s great when the adults party just as hard as the teenagers. Family came from as far away as California to witness and celebrate Danny becoming a Bar Mitzvah. Mazel Tov to Danny.

Here are a few from the days events.

March 18th had us traveling to Warren NJ for the Bar Mitzvah of Brandon at
Temple Har Shalom. After the  kiddush we then traveled to West Orange NJ for the celebration party at The Wilshire Grand. Brandon had a circus theme. A ton of planning went into this. Mom did a tremendous job of putting it all together. There was an abundant supply of games from electronic to basketball and a exciting/fun group of dancers and DJ/MC magic from Noble productions. We brought along our Partyphotodraw booth for all the silly fun and 4×6 prints. Custom air brushing provided gifts for everyone. Brandon also picked up a few basketball tricks from the basketball trickster man that entertained the guests. After a ton of food and crazy deserts the party came to an end a few tics from Midnight.

Here are a few from Brandon’s day.

A few weekends ago we had the pleasure of capturing Brittany and Matt’s engagement photos. Brittany’s mom had mentioned to me that the couple enjoyed going to car shows together. Being a car buff myself and having friends that own some hot rods, I thought that I could turn the photoshoot into something different, if I could pull it off. My buds Jarrod and Adam came through for me without hesitation, even after having to reschedule due to bad weather. Between both cars there was well over 1000hp at the wheels. So, we made this a special session. A little park scenery, a little city and some hot rods. Brittany and Matt were awesome -fun, animated, flexible and patient. It was a long day with a few outfit changes and locations, not to mention it was in the high 90’s. We are excited to capture their wedding next year with two great families and friends having a celebration.

Here is a sample of some favorites of mine from their session.

Thirty days later we find ourselves back at Bear Creek Mountain Resort – this time for Gabe’s Bar Mitzvah. However, instead of being in the Lodge, we were in the Woodland Ballroom. Gabe’s Temple session was the previous day at Beth El in Allentown, Pa. The theme for the Bar Mitzvah catered to Gabe’s favorite football team, the New York Giants – it was a sea of red and blue (even Gabe’s mom and sister unknowingly wore a red and blue dress!). We’ve worked with the DJ before, A Sharp Production, and the emcee and his team didn’t let the crowd down with the constant flow of great music and dancing. Witnessing and capturing families enjoying life warms my heart every time.

Here are just a few images from Gabe’s big night.

Recently we finished up a pre~mitzvah session with Sam, at the JCC of allentown
Sam’s Bar Mitzvah is coming up in April.

We do these informal sessions prior to a Bar~Bat Mitzvah to capture the teenager in their element, whether it be a hobby, sport or activity they are active in. This also helps to allow us more time to work with the families and become more comfortable during the bigger day coming up.

Sam’s sport is basketball so we captured some of those images for him. We look forward to  his celebration.

Here are just a few from his session.
