Belvidere NJ Wedding photographer  ~ Jennifer & Mike

As soon as I met Jennifer and Mike, I knew we would click the minute their dog, Titan, came to me at the door with a toy during our first meeting. Both Jennifer and Mike are fun, easy going people with wonderful families. I thoroughly enjoyed my time after the wedding speaking with the family that flew in from Germany. It’s great to connect with people from across the map.

The church was just down the road from their residence and it was a perfect fit. It’s a small, older quaint church where the floor boards would creak as you walked down the aisle along with a rope by the door to ring the church bells to signify another marriage in the books. The bride arrived in style with a horse-drawn carriage which also held a bottle of champagne and two glasses for Jennifer and Mike to celebrate after saying their vows.  The bridesmaids wore stunning red gowns and groomsmen each had bow ties.  The cocktail “hour” and reception had food catered by the Brownstone and the dance music was provided by DJ Dave Rupell with Big Daddy productions. In addition to an ice luge, there was an on-premise hand rolled cigar table which was a nice added touch for the guests to enjoy. I believe that pretty much tells the story of a fun celebration for the newlyweds before they jet off to a two week honeymoon in paradise.

The Architects Golf Club Wedding Photographer

The Architects Golf Club Wedding Photographer ~ Meghan & Scott

We were fortunate enough to, again, be referred to another awesome couple, Meghan and Scott (thanks Kelly). The way the couple interacted during our first meeting and then especially during their engagement session, I just knew that we would have a wonderful time at the wedding. The wedding ran just as smooth as the engagement session except Scott’s nerves were a little more apparent just  before walking down the aisle. Meghan was as calm as could be, if she was nervous she sure didn’t show it. September 24th was a bright sunny day with just a slight breeze to keep you cool.

The Architects Golf Club was in pristine condition for an outside wedding with beautiful fall flowers and a quiet setting. Meghan’s makeup was applied by Ryan Rivera from Stephanie’s Village Salon  and Laura Gonzalez from Hair Unique did a wonderful job doing Meghan’s hair along with her mom, Grace. The flowers were designed by Rose & Radish  ~and  Four Seasons from Whitehouse Station, NJ. made the center pieces.  Fantasy Production DJ’s  had the party on their feet all night. Judging by the images it sure does look like both families and their friends had one heck of a good party. We are so happy for Meghan and Scott, they just click with one another. That’s what I call loving life. I felt especially blessed and honored because I grew up with quite a few of the family members and they trusted us to capture a special time in their lives. We may be more forward in years but it felt just like being back in Whitehouse Station with the gang.

Here are just a few of my favorites.

Easton Portrait session

Easton Portrait session with Hannah

Hannah came to find us on the web through a referral. To my disbelief, she told me that she never had  graduation or senior portraits taken. Hannah, or known as Hanzy on Facebook is a 23 year old Centenary college graduate with a major in history and business marketing. She is a two sport athlete for both Phillipsburg high school as well as Centenary, basketball and lacrosse. She currently works in Hunterdon County and is also a recruiting coordinator for the Stevens institute of tech women’s basketball team. She was a joy is work with. Her smiles come easily and with spirit. Here are a few from her day.

Meet Lauren,

a spunky , smart, quick witted, funny, happy 24 year old…to say the least =)
She’s a graduate from  Centenary college and is an elementary education major. I wonder if her students know that she loves Country music, fishing and crafts.

Here a some images from her session.
