A week ago we traveled to Wantage, New Jersey which is an area in Sussex County close to the New York border.
The bad weather a week prior had forced us into November. Unfortunately, within that one week, we lost the opportunity to take in the colors of the Fall landscape. The session was on Jill’s family relatives farm which was such a nice, peaceful piece of land. We were able to take the truck and golf cart to get us deep into the woods for some texture and then on the hills to capture the blue sky. It was a crisp, tolerable, partly sunny day.
Jill and Rich were both easy to work with and we had a good time. Mom and cousins and a few black Angus occasionally popped in for photo bombs =) The family ‘s hospitality was over the top. Jill’s mom cooked us up ribs and ham for a country dinner with the family. I was also sent home with homemade apple crisp pie. It was all delicious and the day was very memorable.
We look forward to capturing their wedding in 2020 and mingling with such a fun family. It will surely be a hoot!
Here are a few of my favs from their session.
