On June 16, 2012 the soon to be newlyweds had an early start to their wedding day. Luckily for Kelly and Andrew the weather was perfect and the sun was shining. After hair, make-up, primping and getting into her wedding gown, ( she looked beautiful! ) With time pressing, Karissa, (Kelly’s Maid of Honor), was so excited to get to the church the rings were forgotten in the room! Thankfully they had not yet left the hotel and I was able to run back and grab the rings before dashing back to the limo with the rest of the bride’s entourage.
Once the bride and her bridesmaids were at the church, the groom and his groomsmen made their grand entrance and arrived by a firetruck that blew its horn through town announcing that they were coming. It was quite a change to see neatly pressed black tuxedo clad men coming from the cab of the firetruck instead of the usual uniform. The ceremony went off without a major “hitch” and the new bride and groom were then announced as husband and wife, not to mention becoming their own new family of two. After leaving the church, they were greeted at the limo and firetruck with a bright red carpet and a bucket with champagne and two flutes to toast.
At the cocktail hour, their guests were showered with drinks and lots of good food while we captured photos on the beautiful staircase. The reception room hard large windows which allowed the beaming sun to shine through and make the table setting look that much more elegant. Every father/daughter dance is very special, however, Kelly’s dance was one to remember since Father’s Day was the next day and she and her father were able to share in that special moment together. The rest of the afternoon went smoothly with dinner, more drinks, desserts that included a chocolate fountain and a coffee/cappuccino bar.
Unfortunately, the day had to come to an end but the party continued afterward at the Marriot hotel for close family and friends. The new Mr. and Mrs. Hill went on their honeymoon to Hawaii the following morning to continue making new memories together.
Congratulations and best wishes for many years to come!
